On Saturday, October 8, we will host our fourth annual CAToberfest at Fowler Park in Cumming. This is our largest fundraising event of the year, with an anticipated 300+ attendees from the local area. Catoberfest is a family friendly day with music, vendor and artisan booths, food, fun activities for kids and a wonderful silent auction. This year we will also be having an online auction leading up to the event as a teaser and for those who will be unable to attend. This will be held September 29th to October 6th at virtualauction.bid/fcpga. We need to raise funds for the cats and kittens in our care and this is a great way to do it while showcasing some of our local talented businesses.

There is no entrance fee, the event is free, we just ask that you bring your wallets and hungry stomachs and come have a good time!

The "Game of Life" allows teens and twenty-somethings the ability to customize their experience by choosing topics according to their interests and skill level. "Game of Life" stations include topics such as: You're Hired: Tips for Getting a Job Banking, Taxes, & You Car Care; Navigating Under the Hood Talk the Talk; How to Communicate Without Being Face to Face and much more! Participants will join in on games and activities filled with everyday tips and skills that allow them to prepare for real-life scenarios. Students walk away with the knowledge and confidence needed on their journey towards adulthood, and YOU can rest easy that your student will be more prepared for what's ahead. Dinner will be provided from 5:00-5:30 pm. Each student will take home a BMore Learning Game of Life Certificate and a parent resource for ongoing conversations.
