Duties: 
Experience Required:Challenged Child and Friends, a nonprofit early intervention center, seeks a full-time, 12 month Fundraising Coordinator to oversee all aspects of fundraising including but not limited to; designing and implementing the agency’s comprehensive fundraising strategy including annual appeals, capital and endowment campaigns, planned giving, event planning and logistics, product sales and grant writing. Must have ability to articulate plans verbally and in writing, as well as generate reports that both forecast and evaluate strategies and activities. Evening and weekend hours will be required. Previous experience in fundraising required. Event planning, collaboration with volunteer committees and grant writing experience preferred. Start Date June 1st, 2015.
Wage or Salary:Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required and a higher level degree in nonprofit management, development, public relations, fundraising, or business administration is preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential): Proven experience and success in a variety of nonprofit, fundraising, or development realms. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to be independent, forward thinking, and be able to generate and initiate new strategies, relationships, and processes that benefit CCAF, excellent organizational and time-management skills, ability to manage event/project records, materials, and work collaboratively with internal and external partners. Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Desirable): Grant writing skills a plus.
