Event Description: New York Times bestselling children’s author of nine books, Carmen Agra Deedy, has performed as a storyteller across the United States, including the Disney Institute, the Kennedy Center and numerous storytelling festivals. John McCutcheon is a Grammy nominated singer-songwriter of 34 albums who entertains children through storytelling and music. Delighting children, Deedy and McCutcheon will appear onstage together at North Georgia Kids Read on Saturday, January 20 at 4:00 pm at the Christ the King Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 5575 Peachtree Parkway, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092. The Gwinnett County Public Library invites everyone to attend. Books and music will be available for sale and signing. North Georgia Reads was created to promote collaboration between neighboring library systems and to bring bestselling authors to a community of 46 libraries in the region.
